Location:  Flexible working with up to 3 days a week in our VHQ, Crawley
Contract:  11 month fixed term contract  or Secondment

Are you ready to craft the future of Virgin Atlantic Ltd.? We are looking for an exceptionally dedicated Change Management professional to join our People & Finance transformation programme. This outstanding opportunity will allow you to lead critical transformations and help us achieve our world-class goals. You will be instrumental in determining and implementing flawless change management strategies that support our enterprise-wide objectives.

Reporting to the Senior Change Manager, the role will work with key stakeholders to shape, deliver and manage effective change strategies. As a ‘go to’ person, you will identify and engage with stakeholders to assess the impact of the change and help leaders and users to prepare for and successfully embed the change within the business. 

Day to day

  • Shape and deliver a change/readiness strategy that builds enthusiasm for change and empowers colleagues to lead, embrace, and embed change.
  • Partner with colleagues in the Programme team and across the business to effectively utilize the features of the new finance and people system. Highlight the importance of process optimization and re-engineering to foster and incorporate new ways of working throughout the business.
  • Evaluate the impact of change to identify potential risks, issues, and opportunities. Assess the preparedness for change and assist collaborators in activities to manage and integrate change.
  • Identify and engage with a diverse range of colleagues. Be a confident facilitator who reports, presents, and manages meetings effectively, ensuring that our people are listened to and that ideas and facts are presented and understood. Be a strong support to programme leaders, developing close working relationships and a fully coordinated and aligned change workstream.
  • Develop communication and engagement materials that are on-brand and aligned to the broader programme messages. Support the communications and training plan and delivery to help drive high levels of adoption

About you

  • Extensive experience of delivering people-centred change management on large, complex programmes in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience of one or more finance and/or people system implementations preferable, particularly experience of Oracle Fusion an advantage.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging and motivating others to inspire change and gain agreement.
  • Business analysis skills, able to understand and translate business needs into practical solutions.
  • Ability to effectively represent the perspectives of end users and engage with a diverse group of collaborators.
  • Extensive knowledge/experience of change methodologies, tools & techniques, preferably PROSCI/ADKAR.
  • Ability to cope with pressure and support extended working hours at peak times.
  • Experience of working within a diverse and complex organization.
  • Collaborative approach to work, promoting effective teamwork, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Aviation experience would be advantageous.
