Heathrow airport – Terminal 3

How to find Terminal 3, Heathrow airport

Terminal 3 is home to our check-in, clubhouse and cabin crew teams. Approximately 5 miles from the M25 and 2 miles from the M4. No visitor parking is available at these offices so visitors travelling by road will need to use the short term car parks for the airport. Due to the cost of parking at Heathrow, we recommend that visitors use public transport.

By public transport

Heathrow airport is serviced by numerous public transport options including a mainline train station, tube stations to each terminal and a variety of bus operators.

By road (From the M25)

  • Leave the M25 at junction 14 (signposted Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 and Cargo) then at the roundabout, take the exit onto Airport Way A3113 (signposted Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 and Cargo)
  • At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Stanwell Moor Road – A3044 (signposted Colnbrook, Longford)
  • At the Longford roundabout, take the 2nd exit and continue along Stanwell Moor Road – A3044 (signposted M4, Slough, Hounslow)
  • Continue forward onto Colnbrook By Pass – A4 entering Longford
  • Keep in the right hand lane and then at the traffic signals, turn right (signposted Heathrow Airport Terminals 1, 2 and 3)
  • Turn Left (one way traffic) continue forward onto West Ramp (signposted M4, M25)
  • Continue forward onto Inner Ring East, bear right onto Control Tower Road (signposted Terminal 2, Terminal 3 Short Stay Parking)
  • Follow signs to short stay car park

Manchester airport – Terminal 2

Terminal 2 is our northern hub. Newly refurbished it offers the latest innovations in travel technology and state-of-the-art facilities for our customers.

How to find Terminal 2, Manchester airport

Terminal 2 located approximately 9 miles south of Manchester city centre, next to the M56 and with easy links to the M6, M60 and M62. No visitor parking is available at the airport so visitors travelling by road will need to use the short stay car parks. Due to the cost of parking at Manchester, we recommend that visitors use public transport.

By public transport

The main station at Manchester Airport includes rail, coach and tram services which can be used to travel into Greater Manchester and further afield. The station is located at the heart of the airport campus, it should take no more than 5 – 15 minutes to get to and from the terminals.

Trains from Manchester Airport to Manchester Piccadilly station in the city centre take around 20 minutes. They run every 10 minutes, 7 days a week, through train operators TransPennine Express and Northern Rail.

Metrolink

The Metrolink tram system connects the airport to Greater Manchester, services run every 12 minutes.

Bus

Manchester Airport is well-served by a network of local and regional buses, running daily from early morning to late night; including weekends and bank holidays. Manchester Airport is linked to the city centre by a 24-hour Stagecoach bus service.

By road

Manchester Airport is roughly a 25 minute drive from central Manchester. From the M56 motorway, the Airport has a dedicated link road from Junction 5.

Just outside Heathrow airport, you’ll find dnata City East, the base of Virgin Atlantic’s Cargo team. This purpose-built facility and modern cargo warehouse where our day-to-day cargo operations run.

You’ll find dnata City East based in a strategic location opposite the Heathrow Cargo Terminal and adjacent to the Southern Perimeter Road.

By public transport

From Heathrow airport – Terminal 3

  • Walk to Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 Underground Station
  • Take the Piccadilly line to Hatton Cross Underground Station, Hatton Cross
  • Walk to Hatton Cross Station (Stop A), Hatton Cross Bus Station, Hatton Cross
  • Take the 490 bus to Scylla Road (>W), Southern Perimeter Road, Heathrow Airport

By road (From the M25)

  • Continue on Airport Way/A3113. Take Stanwell Moor Rd/A3044 and Park Rd/B378 to Northumberland Cl in Stanwell
  • At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Airport Way/A3113
  • At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Stanwell Moor Rd/A3044
  • Turn left onto Park Rd/B378
  • At the roundabout, continue straight onto High St
  • At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Bedfont Rd
  • Turn right onto Northumberland Cl
  • dnata City East

How to find the Hanger, Heathrow airport

Engineering Hangar – Heathrow is located in Hounslow on the edge of London Heathrow Airport approximately 7 miles from the M25 and 5 miles from the M4. As a major international airport, the roads around Heathrow can get busy during peak times so we recommend that you allow plenty of time to complete your journey.

By public transport

Heathrow airport is serviced by numerous public transport options including a mainline train station, tube stations to each terminal and a variety of bus operators. Travel around certain parts of the airport may be free of charge if you are travelling within the free travel zone.

By road (From the M25)

  • Leave the M25 at junction 13 (signposted London, Staines)
  • Then at the roundabout, take the exit onto Staines bypass – A30 (signposted London, Hounslow, Staines)
  • At Crooked Billet Junction continue forward onto London Road – A30 (signpostedCentral London, Hounslow)
  • At the Clockhouse Roundabout take the 1st exit onto Great South West Road – A30 (signposted Central London, Heathrow)
  • At Hatton Cross turn left onto at traffic signals onto Hatton Road (signposted Heathrow Airport)
  • At mini roundabout turn right
  • At mini roundabout continue forward
  • At mini roundabout turn right onto Eastchurch Road
  • At roundabout take the take the 2nd exit onto Exeter Way
  • Turn Left onto Exeter Road
