Location: The VHQ, Crawley (hybrid, expectations 2-3 days in the office
Contract: 12 month Secondment/Fixed Term Contract

In a nutshell

We have a great opportunity to join our crew logistics team as a Pairings Analyst.

This role is responsible for the assessment of commercial schedules, charters and programme changes for the next planning period, the subsequent creation, modification, and notification of crew pairings whilst providing feedback as required to ensure network planning decisions consider crew regulations, establishment and associated costs.

Day to day

• The timely, accurate, robust and cost-effective creation and maintenance of crew pairings
• Ensuring compliance to regulatory and union agreements including FRM evaluation, making recommendations as appropriate.
• Accurate pairing information is provided to support establishment planning as well as hotel, travel and allowance calculations.
• Ensure that Roster Production, Pilots and Crew are provided with up-to-date, robust pairing plans, in time for roster bidding and are aligned with EASA, FRM and Industrial agreements.
• Lead Route Pairing project to enable automation of creation supporting the longer-term establishment planning outlook.
• Working with the Data Science team to relay pairing constraints, testing outputs and refining assumptions.
• Ensuring LOIs & associated maintenance tables are documented for project completion to allow automation to be a success
• Provide analytical support for Crew Logistics initiatives to ensure effective business operation.

About you

Do you have previous experience working in a Crew Logistics environment, with exposure to creating pairings?

• High levels of attention to detail with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Ability to work independently & make informed decisions
• Can-do approach and work effectively within the team
• Confident in managing multiple things at once which are time pressured
• Effective communication skills to convey clear, concise messages
• Experience of Jeppesen Studio preferred
