In a nutshell

Here at Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays we pride ourselves on our amazing brands. On our quest to become the most loved travel company we are looking for a Campaigns Executive who help us to ignite and inspire brand love.

You’ll be delivering engaging and effective brand and co-brand marketing campaigns. You’ll work with our agency partners to design and execute 360 campaigns that inspire brand love and increase consideration and preference for the brand. Data and insights will play a big part in your decision-making as you will be closely monitoring the competitive market, measuring and reporting on campaign performance.

Acting as the brand custodian in delivering campaign and creative assets, you will ensure that they stay true to the brand identity guidelines and in particular ensure that co-brand campaigns adhere to the target framework.


Day to day

Reporting to the Campaigns Manager, you will orchestrate consumer-focused campaigns, by collaborating effectively with wider marketing colleagues in brand partnership, CRM, social, digital and retail.

You will co-ordinate and manage the day to day relationship with agencies and brand identity team on appropriate campaigns ensuring that costs are controlled and projects are delivered on time and on brief.

Planning, designing and developing marketing campaigns, you will develop a deep understanding of target audience and support the creation of insights-driven campaign briefs.

Socialising new work and guidelines among key stakeholders internally and with key external partners.

Supporting the delivery of trading-focused campaigns as and when required with speed and agility.

Working with the Marketing Effectiveness Manager, you will implement campaign tracking, deliver post campaign analysis and communicate insights and learnings to wider marketing team and other relevant stakeholders.

Supporting the Brand Partnership team in the delivery of any partner campaign reporting and help guide any discussions on future investment based on robust evaluation and learnings.

Working with the Campaigns manager in monitoring and reporting on brand health regularly.

As part of budget management, you will carefully design and deliver campaigns within the budget agreed. You will also support with the administration of the campaigns budget for consumer advertising campaigns.

Monitoring competitor activity, providing updates and analysis to the team, you will stay on top of relevant industry and communication trends and identify opportunities for Virgin Atlantic to stay ahead of the curve.


About you

We are looking for an inventive self-starter with a solid level of foundational brand marketing knowledge, and a high degree of commercial acumen. You will be comfortable in continuously re-prioritising budgets/resources to deliver the best “bang for buck.”.

With a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, you will possess amazing project, budget and stakeholder management skills and be adept at working under tight time pressure. Additionally, robust MS office skills ---MS Word, Excel, Power Point are a must.

As a forward-thinking communicator you will have outstanding presentation, negotiation, and follow-through skills and you will enjoy working independently and within a team.
