This is an amazing opportunity for motivated individuals to pursue their love for Engineering. As one of our Apprentices you'll learn from established and credible Engineers and Trainers.

We will enrol you on a 3 year training programme, based offsite with an industry leading training provider, which will see you working with your colleagues on live aircraft, whilst developing your dexterity and communication skills. This will allow you not only to gain an academic qualification but we will give you live exposure to an Engineering operation.

Additionally, in the latter stage of the programme, we will spend time with you as you work out of our London Gatwick, London Heathrow, and Manchester operations.

In return for your hard work we will help you achieve your EASA Part 66 Category A licence and you’ll get involved with advancing our innovative fleet.

Day to day

Throughout the apprentice scheme, no two days will be the same. This training programme we have built will cover all parts of the Cat A Licence to ensure you have concrete foundation in Aircraft Maintenance.

This will involve; learning the basic principles of Aircraft maintenance, having exposure to a live operation to gain hands-on practical experience and completing a series of written and practical tests. The testing will include but not limited to; Maths, English and Physics, credits of which, will be used towards your certification.

About you

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are key to this position as in training and in the Hangar, we will need you to communicate key information to others around you to ensure all tasks are successful.

You will have basic aircraft and aviation knowledge, with the drive to develop your manual dexterity skills. You’ll take accountability whilst having a strong sense of responsibility to support your own and others learning.

During the off-site training programme period, you will be given residency on site for the duration of your training, this being offered as part of the apprenticeship programme. You will need to be comfortable with staying away for long periods of time and sharing accommodation with other apprentices. The facilities are modern and will have everything you need to fall in love with your home from home!
