Day to day

As our Analyst, Data Product some of your key responsibilities are:
• Collaborating with the Manager – Data Product Delivery, this role is responsible for supporting our team of Data Product Managers in the maintenance of Data Domain(s) and Data Product backlogs & roadmaps
• You will be an expert in your assigned data domain and will be responsible for monitoring it’s quality cataloguing and data policies, taking steps to improve where required
• Working in a product owner capacity within Data Delivery teams
• Communicate effectively with partners and BI Leads to gather and prioritise requirements, define benefit and increase adoption of Data Products


About you

Are you a passionate Data Professional and experienced in a Product Management / Product owner role?
Are you a motivated self-starter, ready to help revamp how Virgin Atlantic thinks about data and self-serve?
In addition to the above, we’re looking for our successful Analyst, Data Product to demonstrate the following:
• Relevant qualification or experience in an analytical discipline coupled with experience in a Product Management or Product owner role
• Previous experience of working in a Data Product, Business Analysis or Project Management related position and managing partner’s expectations
• High level understanding of data management capabilities; Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Operational Research, Data Science and Data Governance
