Working in our retail stores, is no ordinary travel role. We’ve been arranging holidays since 1985 and are the largest, most successful transatlantic tour operator, and market leader for travel to the USA and the Caribbean.

A Virgin Holidays store is so much more than just a travel agent. All our stores offer mind-blowing holidays from family thrills and attractions in Florida to honeymoons in the Caribbean. There’s a store somewhere in your area, as we cover England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. You can also find us in partnership with many ‘Next’ stores.

What skills and experience do I need to join the retail team?

We offer a variety of retail jobs and we’re always on the lookout for talented salespeople with a passion for customer service and supporting our reputation for being market leaders in the industry. We rely on outstanding individuals who are committed to providing excellent service. Our retail estate is a fast-paced environment, so you need to be flexible and resilient but it’s a perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and to develop an ever-growing skill set with all the benefits of being part of the Virgin Atlantic family.

Your uniform

The “Viv” is our iconic Vivienne Westwood uniform, and we wear it with incredible pride. After all, there’s nothing like a splash of red to make you out from the crowd.

But it’s not just about looking good. Made using technology that takes worn polyester clothing to turn it into new fabric, and elements from recycled plastic bottles, you’ll be looking fabulous while doing good for the planet.

Times have changed since our glamourous beginnings in 1984, and while we still do things in true Virgin Atlantic style, our uniform guidelines have been designed to offer increased comfort and more choice on how you want to express yourself at work

We believe in helping our employees realise their potential. Many of our area managers and supervisors started out as Advisors. Whatever your experience level might be when you join us, we have opportunities to help you move onwards. In a nutshell, you’ll be learning real skills from the best in the business while sharing in the many benefits of working for the famous Virgin brand.
